This is quite annoying I need to view the commands but if I try to open "GCBASIC Command Guide.doc" included with the program I cannot it just causes WordPad to freeze. The file is not corrupted on my computer unless the one in the installer is corrupted.

Perhaps it is very large and my computer is not powerful enough to open it I thought at first but its only 93.0 KB smaller than the Tutorial.doc witch will open fine. Then I go to the web page and try to view online help. Interestingly enough there is NOTHING under commands almost as if this is for the purpose of tormenting me.

Anyway sorry for all that but I had to type it. So if someone would be so kind as to get me the "GCBASIC Command Guide.doc" in a format I can actually read I would appreciate it.

I tried it with Wordpad in Windows XP and had the same experience.

Microsoft gives away a free version of a Word document viewer.  You can get the latest version here.

      An older version is here.

      Hope this helps.

I am using GCB on a old computer with Win98.  I took a copy of Commands... to my main computer which has Word Perfect on it.  I loaded the file into Word Perfect, then saved it as RichText.  Took this copy back to old computer and Word Pad was able to handle it very well. (Just my solution)
