I'm a total newb so please bare with me, lol.. I tried to read through alot of ASM tutorials and I will be honest and say, "Huh 0.o" I am really hoping that GCBasic will be a little easier to understand. I have a little experience with a Java like language so if its anythig like that I might be in good shape..

well my first problem is I'm tring to use GCBIDE and it doesnt show the chip i want to use "12F683" mater a fact it doesnt show any 12FXXX or 12CXXX chips. i tried installing some chipdata.zip and that didnt change anythign.. what did i miss?

    Thanks In Advance
    Bill
