Great Cow BASIC IDE v0.96.00

This is the latest build with the Great Cow Basic compiler, the IDE and Great Cow Basic. This is a complete package. Contains demonstrations and seven microprocessor programmers (including the command line tools and GUI tools for the Microchip Pickit 2 & 3) for Microchip and AVR microprocessors @ ~58mb.
The development team has published another release that further enhances the Great Cow Basic compiler capabilities.
**What has changed in v.0.96.00 since the previous release? Even more! I would recommend this as a mandated update for everyone using the new chips shown below.

New support for 16 new Microchip 8-bit microprocessors like the 16f18877 and the 16f15355 range. We updated the compiler to support the new instruction set and change the format of the .dat files.
Improved Help and IDE Context Help.
New I2C Slave support via a State Library.
Improved support for Microchip and Atmel 8-bit microprocessors with over 900 different processor types now supported.
Over 570 demonstration files that showcase the breadth and depth of Great Cow Basic capabilities.

You cannot, and should not, selectively use files from the v0.96.00 release with any other version of Great Cow BASIC before v0.95.007.
Some of the critical files are dependent on other files being at the same release level. An example: The compiler v0.96.00 requires a system.h from the v0.95.007 (or, greater) to support 18f string handling.
So, please keep the release consistent in terms of the build.
If you are adapting the build for your own needs then there are lots of methods to keep the build consistent and enable you to customise – there postings in the forum on how to accomplish this.
