For me Facebook is very seldom used, only my dog uses it :-)
But nevertheless, why not share the twitter tweets at Facebook? Do you have there a bigger Community?
My Dog knows only non programming other dogs :-) I am sure they do not like

Ohh, I extra established a twiiter Account and felt like you, Twitter is beyond my horizon, or whatever, I'm old too ;-)
