Hi,
I wanted to update everyone on my progress. I am now able to control the DDS and set frequency as needed using the synchronous mode. It works extremely well. I do have another question however.
I want to start up the chip, initialize everything, set the initial frequency, then put the PIC to sleep till something happens on a specific I/O pin. When that happens, I want to wake up the PIC, perform my functions with the DDS, then when it's all done, put it back into something like a "sleep" mode till the next event comes.
When I get the next two pieces wrapped up, I'll post it as well as a long explanation, schematics, code listings, etc.
