I've just watched Evans video where he uses the Oshonsoft AVR simulator to solve a problem. Is it possible to use the simualtor with PIC mcu's and if so what steps need to be carried out in order to use it in the same way.
Is it possible to use the Oshonsoft compiler that is currently on offer at the moment. Thanks for all of your work.

Yes, you can use as the same process for PIC.
However, using MPLAB-X simulator covers a wider range of chips.
So, always check the support for a specific chip with a specific emulator.
But there is nothing better than a chip and serial connection to a terminal. :-)
