It's really hard to say. It would be harder than when I ported GCBASIC to the 18Fs, as the instruction set is quite different to anything currently implemented. Also, everything being 16 bit might require some major alterations.
Porting to 16 bit PICs isn't high on the list of things I'd like to do with GCBASIC this year, but it's certainly not out of the question. GCBASIC is already partially (> 50%) ported to AVRs, finishing that would be a good idea before starting any other ports.
