    Bernd,

Thank you for all your hard work - you took the challenge and you have exceeded expectations.

    You are a mega star.

There is much we can now do with the new website. The new website will get the message out there and improve our communications.

    Thank you again,

    Evan

    My pleasure.
To much honor, I'm glad to bring some to the Project with which I will play around some Years, I'm sure.
For me I still don't like the search, still looking for a css expert :-)
In my spare time I will give it another try, and maybe in some Months ...

    Thank You all, nice community.
Who want give me a favour, could write an Article for his/her last Project done with Great Cow BASIC. So my (unfinished) project lingering around not alone in the showroom.
Ps: this Site is Mutlilanguage aware, we could translate all or some Pages in different Languages. But it seems English as single Lang works.

I think you're on to something. Maybe we should give the cow a name (eg, "Elsie"). We could have a Tips & Suggestions section where "Elsie says.........". Of course, always ending with "Mooo".

She already has a name and you use it every time you talk to her:

        Chip

          As in "cow chip"??

As in Hash Chip but the forum removed the Hash Symbol and increased the font size of the Chip instead.

            lets try this:

            #Chip

    ;
We post pojects in gcb forum, yes? Please clarify your wishes., it's unclear what your wishes are.
None of my projects are "finished". Nothing is "finished" or gcb would be V1.0
    ;
I'll write some story of how a simple project can develope for you. I'll get back with a video later when I make it presentable.

    Looks good.

    Suggestion:
You just got here, knowing nothing about GCB. You read the mission section and you go on to the GCGB section and you think this is the main event. You're disappointed and move on in your search. That would be disappointing.

I suggest moving GCGB to the end of.the introduction. section

joe has a point. GraphicalGCB. Not many posts in the forum.
    Most people use the IDE..yes?
It's the main event? I reckon.
    Bed, have you used Ggcb?

Bernd, I love the new home page! Now GCB looks as awsome as it actually is! That said I'm with Joe for moving GCGB to the bottom of the page.

    Thank you!

I will review the page with the team. A table comparing the differences may be the way forward.

I'd like to suggest that the home page should have a prominent banner at the top with the product name and the logo. A tag line should appear under the product name with a very short description of the most important product differentiator. In this case, maybe it's something like "Compiled Basic for PIC and AVR Microcontrollers". The actual tag line should be discussed, but I think a major part of the product 'branding' is the way the product name, tag line and logo are presented. It should be slick. This is the image we'll take to the world.

Joe, I like the banner with the prominent Great Cow Basic, and I think your description is perfect, great combination effect. I think bed has a good start https://sourceforge.net/p/gcbasic/discussion/579125/thread/19cd9f6e/#e167.

I'm having to get used to the moo logo, perhaps Hugh has some insight into whether the orignial cow should be stuck to, the moo, or some other realistic/abstract candidate ?

I like the 'moo' sentiments. Maybe we could stylize it and use it as a terminator element on every page, article, etc. Would help reinforce the brand.

Someone posted a much slicker cow last week,. more colorful and playful looking,. but. I forgot who it was. I could learn to love that one if the name is going to remain unchanged

Very nice work on the website Bernd!

For a logo, we need something that only we use, not something shared that will pop up in other places. My preference is to keep the original cow for the logo at the top of the page. Happy to see the moo remain as a decoration in other places. Maybe as a mascot?

Feel free to make the IDE and compiler package more prominent and move GCGB down a bit, no objections there. Ideally we make it clear to people as fast as possible what their options are, and let them decide. If you're an experienced programmer and want an IDE and compiler without any added restrictions, download those. If you're less experienced at programming and want something to guide you, download GCGB.

Joe, I like the tag line idea.
