I prefer using the semicolon for comments, rather than the apostrophe. Can anyone suggest how to make GCB@Syn respond to this for the syntax checking? I'd like to keep both semicolons and apostrophes, but have what follows either on a line show up in GCB@Syn as comments.
Thanks,
Thomas Henry

Hi Thomas,
I modified the lexer to recognize semicolon as comment. Replace the LexLib.LXL in folder ...\GCB@Syn\SynWrite\HL with the attached one and report if it works for you.

This will be added to GCB@Syns next release.

Thank you very much, Steini,
It works like a charm! Both apostrophes and semicolons are recognized as comments now.
Best wishes,
Thomas Henry
Oops!
Crippled the block-comment feature; fixed today. Please reload LexLib.LXL from link above.

Thanks again, Steini,
I was surprised to see there was a feature to block-comment in GCB@Syn. That's great.
I wish that Great Cow Basic recognized #REM and #ENDREM directives too for block comments, so we wouldn't have to depend on the IDE to handle it.
Hey, I really appreciate your hard work!
Best wishes,
Thomas Henry
