Hi, I found in help how to install gcb on Debian rasperrypi os.
I used TwisterOS on a rpi 400.
I had freebasic already but went through the gcb help install.
I am not a linux user so cut and pasted the commands to install freebasic again in a different folder I guess and ok.
gcb got compiled I think but typing gcbasic gave an error.
gcb@syn is in the file system root. So it may work.
The link http://gcbasic.sourceforge.net/help/ is handy using linux and gcb.
The gcb for rpi is not as easy as windows.
The freebasic is 1.08 where mine was 1.07 so good.
Delete old version?
How to use it to program a uno and is Geany a replacement for the gcb windows ide?
I'm doing this for the experience :)

In help it says not tested on rpi4 so using rpi400 seems to install ok.
More to come but I'm not a terminal linux user so hard going.
