If you are just getting started with GCBASIC or a developer needing to test a Library function on both PIC and AVR take a look at the latest version of PICSimLab.

It only has a limited set of Devices but it does now include the Arduino Uno making it the perfect tool for new users who just want to test the GCBASIC compiler before actually purchasing hardware or for those of us who need to test code on both PIC and AVR devices to ensure portability.

It is FREE and Open Source, so a good companion to GCBASIC.

    Cheers

Is the code available somewhere? Someone could compile a win32 version for Stan...

There is a 32bit version. No need to compile.

I saw a 32 bit version but it's a year old and the arduino is a new feature?
My desktop pc is a intel duo E8400 @ 3GHz, Is that 64bit capable? It has 32bit win 10 cos it upgraded from 32 bit win 7. It's a pain I can't use latest softaware versions.
edit @Chris, your link to 32 bit versin works and it has uno sim. Cheers.

You can upgrade your WIN10-32bit to 64bit at no cost, however, it has to be a claen install as it was never provided as an upgrade.
      take a look here

Thanks for the reply, I bookmarked it 4 l8r.
I have win 10 64 bit image I could use and not activating I just lose personalise preferences.
Your link looks better. I will take a disk image with macrium and the win 7 imager in win 10 to back up incase. I'll do the compatability tests first.

The 64bit and the 32bit versions have the same licance key.
Just install your 64bit copy and use the 32bit licance key that you already have.
