I saw this tailor made ad in facebook and thought could it be done with gcb. https://kickstarter.8bitcade.com/launch-v2?fbclid=IwAR1RyKTP_iqO0RIXyNKkzAnWeBkeL9E1M6XH314FSq5un0AsFDIzjWQrZCE
No info but using a lgt328 and maybe ili glcd then some 8bit games would be possible.
The old games look simple until you try to code them from scratch. real space invaders and pacman are not easy and totally different. pacman would need the ili read pixel to check the maze.
Just a thought cos ili displays work pretty fast. just want to make something permanent.
missile command on a touch screen comes to mind. Would have to change the draw line to a sub that plotted every loop or use trig.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I don't know much from the advert. It says uses arduino c+ and oop. BW screen.
Always thought that what can be done with 328p arduino can be done with gcb.
I don't know how many gcb supported glcd displays have a read pixel at x,y function,
which is needed for graphic games.
It looks interesting but not a finished product... like how to buy one and how much.
Has usb controllers been implemented in gcb? What's hard about usb? It's just serial??
