Windows 7 Support for GC Code has been released on v.1.00.14 as of 15/05/2023
Windows 7 users that are on the mainstream channel will experience TWO subsequent updates (this is normal), this will change your current update channel to "mainstream win7" and patch your GC Code with a special build for win7 in an automated fashion.
If you are a Win7 user that are in a different channel than "mainstream" simply change to mainstream channel and restart the application, GC Studio will take care of the rest.
NOTE: If you want to use GC Code after this process please select it on the settings panel.
Users with an operating system greater than win7 will see no change. (the "mainstream win7" channel will only be visible on win7 installations)
New installations of GC Studio on Windows 7 will see a update on the first launch (this is normal as it will patch your GC Code automatically and set you on "mainstream win7" as expected.
Win 7 users that are on "mainstream win7" will get all the same updates of the tool chain as the mainstream channel including any specific GCcode update for win7.
Report any related bug here or in the bug tracker (I hope there aren't any :-)
Feedback Welcome.
Enjoy!

@Angel - thank you.
@Window 7 Users - you can now use GC Code. :-) Enjoy
Were there limitations in W7 so far? I haven't installed the latest versions so I don't know :)
The limitation of not being able to use GC Code (the IDE) when using Windows 7 has been removed. You had to use SynWrite as the IDE.
