Hi I am looking at the PIC I.O.T. (Internet-of-Things) WG Development Board, which uses a PIC24FJ128GA705 device.
I notice that the PIC24 devices are not supported yet in GCB (I don't think but I could be wrong)..
Does anyone know of a PIC based IOT module which has a PIC device supported by GCB please? The PIC device doesn't need to be anything fancy. I am currently using a PIC16F1956 device, which covers all of my ADC requirements and also has a handy 5-bit DAC on chip.

    What a great question!

The WG board comes with many capabilities like connectivity etc but you are buying into the Google IoT Core for services but these services are being shut down next year, see here

Is this where you want to end up?

Or, do want to end up with AWS or Msoft service model? This is something I cannot answer.

Or, do want want to have the same basic capabilities of in terms of WIFI and BlueTooth to some simple sensor and you want to create a simple App to present the sensor data?

More questions than answers for now.
