Hello again ... After my issues with Kittenbot's ASR, I was looking for Audeme's MOVI ; but it is "Arduino contaminated", i.e. every software is written in C-like language (C with libraries ? ) . And meanwhile I saw a demo on Youtube : the permanent speech feedback seems to be necessary for normal use, but is absolutely boring after a while, especially since the voice is very "robotic" ... So finally it's not the perfect solution, too ! :(

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Put it "on ice" for the moment, meanwhile I saw that : first it needs 7.5 V so I would have to replace my 5 V supply with a 7.5 V version and add a regulator for about 1.5 A (the Nextion alone needs 1 A) ; second it does not (yet) support French, only English, German and Spanish, but this language would be my main interest (for kids coming with their parents to visit my railroad and who don't speak English). Third, "they" speak about a too loud environment, so if the system does not work ... :) And concerning the price it is not really a bargain ; up to the present time I tested 6 (SIX ! ) modules, some of them several times, without success !
If You are nevertheless interested, here is the URL : https://www.audeme.com/movi.html
The only question is how long one could survive the "dialog" (look and listen to the YouTube demos) ...

Lots of Arduino c but takes Anobium to convert to gcb.
Nothing wrong with libraries, gcb uses them for hardware.
What is in the code? Most of it is portable. If I ever get time I will right a converter.
Attach the source or a URL where the code is listed.
