The Forum search is in the drop down menu, if you have not found it by now. Since the new Sourceforge.net page look has been implemented, this question has come up several times.
Submitted a support request, but have doubts about their ability to change this issue anytime soon.

How does one search the forum, i dont see any links/buttons to do so.
If i use the search box in the top right it searchs the whole of sourceforge.
