Hi All, I'm trying to upload the bootloader for the 16F877A in TMB+, but the TMB program keeps reporting that it can't find a 16F877A. I'm using the PicKit3 program in TMB and the settings look OK, but I'm only offered the 16F877 and not the 'A' version. Is this the problem and is there a solution please?

    Not sure I understand.

You have programmed the 887A with a TBL+ bootloader.
When using the TBL+ application is not recognising the chip?

    Or,

You have a TBL+ bootloader, and, the PICKit is not recognising the chip?

Hi Anobium, I was trying to input the bootloader that is offered in the 'Firmwares' menu of TMB. Here is a screen grab of my settings. Perhaps this does not work?

I have not tested that personally, I know it works. But, just use the PK2 Windows GUI Application to resolve.

OK, but where do I find the TMB bootloader hex file for the 16F877A?
