There can never be a final gcb version...can there? unless the support "team" cease to support gcb.
Who would take up the task with the abilities or the time to sort gcb and user problems and the forum?

It never fails to amaze me just how rude (perhaps in this case a language artifact) people believe they can be when demanding free stuff on the interweb.

Sorry, I was trying to be polite.

I was talking about you nor would I on your board. BTW ... (perhaps in this case a language artifact) should have been the tell.

Nothing to apologies for. I tried to edit my previous to add that my remark was general rather than specific, you see it so often and it's so unnecesary. With a few moments rephrasing, a demand becomes a polite enquiry.

It seems most people appreciate using gcb for free and post how much they like it and are grateful if a problem they have using gcb is solved with help on the gcb forum.
A contingency plan for who would support gcb should the need arrive is a thought, not a nice one sorry but the current health crisis has made me re-evaluate many things.

We are good in the current crisis.

Certain people have the very latest RC code and the risk of a loss is now very small.

      :-)

Anobium.. You are indespensible..and modest. Most of the changes and demos and includes in gcb are by you.
You have created the glcd format for all displays and done the looking at data sheets...and making sense of them :-{)

Sorry if my post could perhaps lead to misunderstanding ... In fact I am very happy to have GCBasic (for my model railroad layout) ; I was only afraid that for some unknown reason it could be abndonned ... In fact Anobium's post for downloading 0.98.06 was from Tue Apr 23, 2019 07:32 AM (see a little bit higher)
