This might be dumb, but I tried GCStudio, then went bact to GCB_Installer-99 on windows 10. I went to the edit programmer pref and picked Microchip Pickit2-CLI - default but when I try to program it always says:
Downloading program ...PICKit+ Cmd5v0 [Maintain Power @ 5v0] and fails. I tried to edit flashpic.bat and I did edit programmer edit and pointed to pk2cmd.exe.
I'm lost here.

Joe - editing the batch files is not advised. Hence, that is why GC Code has now stopped using the batch files.
Open Prefs Editor, then, look Microchip Pickit2-CLI entry and remove the USE IF entries. Select OK etc to exit. Microchip Pickit2-CLI only supports a subset of the PICs so it has the USE IF constraint.
