Each and every time I initiate the Sync with GCalSync
on my BlackBerry 7100t handheld, a popup message
prompts me with the following question:
'The application GCalSync has attempted to modify your
user data. Would you like to allow this?
Yes
No
I don't know what is triggering this behaviour, as it
is the only application on my Blackberry that generates
this message.
My BlackBerry software is version 4.1.0.309

It's probably because gcalsync must modify your data to be
able to add events from google calendar.

I also get this with the Blackberry 8100 Pearl -- I assume it is because the application is opening the calendar database with write-access permissions, but it is probably more a bug for the RIM developers in not providing a hook where this 'feature' can be turned off.
