#14 Hangs at "Reading phone events..."

Using GCalSync v 1.1.1 with a Sony Ericsson W810i, the "Sync" and the "Full resync" operations stall. The output on the screen is as follows:

Synchronizing
Reading Google Calendar...
Logging in...
Connecting...
Reading phone events...

At this point, no more network traffic occurs (I can tell because my stereo speakers stop crackling). Eventually the phone locks and after several minutes it does a soft reboot. The "Log" does not have any information at all and no changes are done to neither the phone's nor Google's calendars.

I get the same issue on a Sony Ericsson Z610i. I have tried to run the tests and all comes back OK!

Hi, I got the same problem. Using GCalSync v 1.1.1 with a Sony Ericsson W810i and in both Sync or Full Resync actions synchronization failed in "Reading phone events..." phase. But in my case I got an error message:

"The subset ending must occur after the subset beginning - synchronization failed"

On my K800i it worked after completely erasing all calendar entries on the phone.

That work-around works for me on the Sony Ericsson W810i. After deleting all calendar events on my phone I was able to both download and upload. I've tried it only a few times in the last 5 weeks but it has worked every time.
