Marvin, Thanks for the notice. While x^(3/5) does indeed have a domain that includes negative numbers, neither GraphCalc, nor any other graphing calculator I know, graphs this region. This is due to the fact that (3/5) is evaluated first and transformed into a decimal that is very very close 0.6 (but not exactly). And while x^0.6 does exist, x^(very very close to 0.6) does not. -Mike On May 03 21:08, Marvin D.
