I crosscompiled a zImage of the linux kernel and tried to boot it on my tungsten E2, but I got a fatal exception about MemoryMgmt.c (which is part of PalmOS iirc).
Could you give a short example of .config file from the kernel, so that we could know what to put it on ? And I also modified the garux Makefile code in order to get rid of the initrd. Is it really necessary to boot with an initrd since I put everything hardcoded in my zImage ?
Thanks in advance for the help, and for the great work you did on Garux. I'll try succeeding in booting Linux on my new toy ;-)

Hi. There's somone on the Hack&Dev forums trying to run Garux on the Tungsten E2. From the sound of it, the MMU table is in a different location. Take a look at this thread:
What kernel are you using? You might need to add E2 specific code to the kernel. Some instructions on how to do that for the Hack&Dev (or handhelds.org) kernel tree are here:

You might want to try emailing the people listed on this page:

I don't know whether they have made any progres.
Ok, thanks, i'll take a look.
The kernel I tried was home-compiled from 2.6.15 sources from kernel.org.
