There is no, per se, zire 31 port of garux.
The Palm Life drive version (multiGarux) *should* work, since it works on the Palm Tungsten E2, which has the same processor as the Zire 31 (arm pxa255).
The progress of this project is in its earliest stages right now, that's why you won't be able to find any progress when you do a google search.

I've just got BobOfDoom to add my patch for Zire 31 support to the cvs.
To use it, checkout the cvs, and do a "make palmz31"
