Many people don't realise that changing the language will change the date order. In fact, as I understand it, the choices displaced are actually Java "locale" settings. Therefore, it would be better to call this setting "Locale" or "Localisation".
Also, when user sees "English" the first time, the user doesn't immediately realise that there are other versions of English (with different date orders) available. Therefore, "English" would better labelled "English (US)".
Even better would be to simply stop labelling these options as languages at all--this is not accurate, because they are locales, not just languages--and give each country its own named file. Thus I would not choose English (Australia), but just Australia. There would be then more localisation files, but at least it would all be clearer to the new user.
