#889 MPP file association clash in Windows XP
This is the issue I have discovered installing ganttproject-2.0.9.exe:
Operating System: Windows XP
Pre-installed software: Microsoft Office Professional Project 2003
Installation type: I installed ganttproject using all the defaults but I choosed to install also the component "Open Microsoft Project files with GanttProject" (this is not a default option).
The installation worked fine and all my "MPP" files were associated to GanttProject instead of MS Projects. That was fine.
I decided to remove GanttProject from my system. I uninstalled it using the supplied standard procedure from the "Start" menu,
After the uninstall was completed my .MPP files were not associated to Microsoft Project.
After the uninstall procedure in my Windows XP system there was no more a file associated to .MPP extension.
I fixed this issue using Windows XP standard tool: I created a new file type for .MPP extension and I associated it to Microsoft Project.
After a reboot the fix is working fine for Windows Explorer, but it does not work for Internet Explorer: I am not able to automatically start-up Microsoft Project when clicking an URL that is referring a .MPP file (I must save locally and then open it using Windows Explorer).
