Idea I had for future version of Ganttlet: calendars for
major countries:
given the number of developers/workers who are all over
the globe, it would be great to have some kind of
calendar built in with statutory holidays in different
countries. That way, you could check whether
someone's task in another country interfered with a
holiday there.
Actually on 2nd thought, this wouldn't have to be built-in
if you could just provide a link to a web site that provided
this information...not as convenient but the information is
still there.
It would also be great to add in some kind of time-zone
calculator to show the current time (& time difference ?)
for different users. For ex., if user A is in NYC and user
B is in Tokyo, User A should see that user B is 14
hours ahead of them and vice versa. The default is that
everyone is initially set in the same timezone (say
GMT?).

Have a look at the 3.0 alpha release, and think about how
your ideas could be merged with the new GUI.
There are only two "views" at the moment (each a tab along
the top) but the idea is that there could be many views, and
you can switch between them easily; perhaps your calendar
ideas could be encompassed in a new view? Or perhaps in some
other way?
Anyway, have a think about it :)
