Development has started

M.A.M.E., the arcade game emulator is great! It now supports over 18.000 games and over 8.000 parents (unique games with possibly several clones). Sometimes you can get lost in this abundance of games. Some require input devices only few people have (like light guns or a steering wheel), some belong to a category you may not be interested in (mahjong maybe) and some simply do not (yet) work in M.A.M.E..

After a discussion on a German arcade gaming board we found that there was a need for a utility to help organizing the games so you can concentrate on what you want to do with M.A.M.E. and if you are not a very weird person that would be playing fun games. Therefore you will want to filter games for input devices, genre, number of players or if you had fun playing them before (aka "favourites").

This project has had some inspiration from ROMLister and MAMEData but strives to be platform independent, expansible and attract a small developer community.
