i was wondering if this can develop games with MP3 files, MID files and  GIF files?

Yes, yes, and yes.  Te first two can be directly imported, gif files, if you want to use them as tilesets, have to be converted to bmp files first.  Jpg images can also be imported to use as tilesets, and both gif and jpg images can be used directly to just display a single image on the screen (i.e. title screen)

Animated GIFs and GIF tranparency is not supported (SGDK handles transparency differently), but otherwise, there should be no problem using GIFs.  You can even use GIFs directly (even for tilesets) without importing them in certain cases, if you know what you are doing.  (The built-in tileset editor always saves graphics as BMPs, but the kit can load tileset graphics directly from GIF, JPG or BMP, if you know how to make that happen -- I can tell you how if you want to know.)

I tried importing a GIF file to make sure it'd work...and it didn't.  At least the one time I tried it.  Maybe it would work in other circumstances.
