#1 graphic conversion needed

Hello
I have been collecting game screeshots for two years.
When I started to capture game screenshots I selected
bitmap format, but now I have more than 1900 shots in
my gamebase and bitmap files occupies very large area.
Now I want to change them jpg but when I convert for
example batman.bmp to batman.jpg gamebase doesn't
recognize it's the same file. So is there a way to solve
this issue thanks.
