i never had perfect performance on it, it was more a proof of concept then a perfectly refined solution that can get perfect on expert. i still have the default sensitivity and play feel set on it, I mainly used the vg-99 for the past decade, and now moved up to vg800 and gm800 combo. I've my friend that has purchased Mad Catz midi pro adapter and he has tried to connect his midi keyboard to Mad Catz midi pro adapter, and it on PS4 with rock band 4, but when he run game, it detects his midi keyboard as a drum. make sure you have the driver installed for the gr55 on your computer. thats the only thing i can think of why it wouldn't show up as a midi device on the list.

ok, I've seen your video, and I've seen that on my GR-55, those options were put on OFF. Now as you can see, I've put them on ON
no, i'm telling you 2 connection are required. 1 usb connection from the gr-55 to the computer, and one usb connection from the usb->midi adapter connecting to the rockband midi adapter. both the gr-55 and usb midi adapter should be showing up in the software. watch the connection video I recorded for you above.

The GR-55 usb port, with the right driver on pc, already has usb->midi built in, so only one, to go from pc to console, should be needed.
@wirelessdreamer is what I've said right?

GR-55 midi out -> pc pc midi out -> midi pro adapter the software is looking for 2 midi adapters, because what its doing is making the midi output from your GR-55 look like its coming from a rock band pro midi controller. the pc then outputs that through a seperate usb midi adapter to the mad catz adapter and into the console. I've always used a M-Audio Midisport Uno usb midi adapter for that, but any standard usb midi HID device should work if it has windows drivers for your setup.
so what need I to do? Have I to connect console guitar to mad catz midi pro adapter, then Mad catz midi pro adapter to pc, then pc to console, and then I can run .exe file?

its designed to run in a console, double clicking it will not work, as its a command line application. I don't have telegram.
when I open .exe file, appears a dos screen for half second, then it disappears. Can I ask you if you have Telegram/Discord, for to talk "more directly'' about it? ππ»
when you run it from the command line, not double clicking on it, what output does it give you?
what can I do with ai about it? Don't you remember nothing about it? Because I've tried to download windows version, but when I run it, appears for half second a "dos screen'' that disappears. Isn't there a way for to get help from you about it? π
If your not already comfortable in a linux environment, your best chance to get it going is to have an ai walk you through it. I haven't touched the project in probably a decade or more. In theory it should still work, but it has a number of hoops to jump through. I use the original pro controller when i play pro mode anymore.
