The gambatte_sdl binary works just fine for me. The command line arguments configure my gamepad to work. However, in gambatte_qt, the interface does not accept my gamepad buttons as input. The keyboard works, however. Could someone post me a sample of what is in the [input] section of the
.config/gambatte/gambatte_qt.conf ? I tested this with gambatte-0.4.1 and then gambatte-0.5.0-wip2v2. I'm running NetBSD 6.0_RC1 on amd64.

    I don't think a gambatte_qt.conf would help here.

I suspect the netbsd-detection in gambatte_qt/src/framework/framework.pro does not work right. As a result proper joystick support does not get built.

We have a couple of patches for the latest development version of gambatte:

    http://pkgsrc-wip.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pkgsrc-wip/wip/gambatte-dev/patches/

(They're the ones we've been using for quite some time.) It seems that the support does get built, but isn't working. Do you have any suggestions on where to begin testing? Attached is the build log from this version. It was built on NetBSD 6.1.2 with pkgsrc-2013Q3 as a package base.
