The improved setup script contains tracing code to debug spurious crashes
and hangs. This code helped to fix a hang that occurred when a fastcgi PHP 5
binary was used instead of the cli binary - now fastcgi, cgi and cli binaries of
PHP 5 work equivalently.... read more
To make the installation easier, at least for users of Debian, Ubuntu and other Debian-based Linux distributions, we have released a .deb package. It includes a few bugfixes from the current development branch; we are working on the next release of the whole project (including .tar.gz and VMWare image) that includes these bugfixes as well as some new features.

Note that the web frontend and the API libs aren't released via SourceForge yet; to install them, check out a CVS snapshot and contact the author for installation instructions.
This day the documentation of the base library was completed, and here it comes - the first release. The image management system is founded on this library, but the classes are designed to be useful in other projects, too. Check out the object mapper!
For further reference, look at the API documentation at http://gallue.sourceforge.net/docs/index.html and select the "libbase" package in the right upper corner.
