One thing I've had in the back of my head for a while is the varying JavaScript code styles and patterns used in G3.

There appear to be generally accepted plugin patterns promoted within the jQuery community that we should consider adopting. A lot of our JS might be easier to follow if refactored to the $.fn.plugin_name = function() {}; pattern.

I've been using camel case for function and variable names and wonder if I should be following our PHP standards.

Just throwing this out there.

Just seeking input on next tasks... I'd work on one of these,  but need more information:
What's this one?

#54 basic opt-in stats gathering
I'm not sure how to write or test the GMC side of the task.

#49 Add ffmpeg library
Not sure what type of UI we need for this.

#110 Add a UI for choosing and ordering sidebar blocks
Again, if someone has a UI mockup i'd be glad to work on it.

Other than those, most of the other Alpha 3 tasks are either 3rd party (PicLens), potentially go away with a new uploader, CSS related, or translation related.

Other than those,
