Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery is a fantastic application for managing local photographs.

Integration of gallery would be superb.

Additionally, allowing Gallery to store meta-data inside the photograph (in the same way as Windows Live Photo Gallery does it), rather than relying on a separate database would be fantastic.
