I am not sure whether this belongs to the galeon-devel mailing list, so
please excuse me if i missed the topic -g-.
I am trying to compile galeon2 against mozilla 1.2.1. I used a straight
debian woody box, installed gnome2 (a backport from debian sid) and then
recompiled the mozilla 1.2.1 package with the gtk2 toolkit as default.
After some manual "backporting" of required packages from sid, it finally
compiled, and seems to work OK when run standalone.
Now i fetched the galeon-snapshot sources from debian unstable and tried
to compile it.
The configure run seems to work OK (after i backported fontconfig), but
when i try to compile, i get the following error after a few minutes :
In file included from ../../embed/galeon-embed.c:31:
../../mozilla/mozilla-embed.h:25: gtkmozembed.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [galeon-embed.lo] Error 1 make: Leaving directory
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
So it seems that galeon cannot find gtkmozembed.h, which should be in
$GALEON_SOURCETREE/mozilla . I located this file in the mozilla
sourcetree, but trying to copy it to mozilla/ just gave me errors about to
few parameters to a function, so i figure this is not the right file.
What should i do ? Why do the galeon sources depend on a file that isn't
included in the distribution, nor in the mozilla tree ? Am i expected to
set up some obscure symlink first ?
Thanks in advance for helping me !
