#1 Level 99 can not be played

Galaxy Domination is very addictive - I love it.

I'm facing the issue that I can't play level 99 with AI = 2.

I have played the entire campain with AI = 1 and everything was fine.
I have played the first 98 level with AI = 2 and I have had the feeling that at the moment when the level starts, the message "level .... start" stays too long on the screen. Sometimes the AI was already sending ships while I still had to wait.
On level 99, the message does not go away at all. The opponents take one planet after the other while I just can't do anything. :-(
In order to get control back, I have to do a forced kill.

I'm using Galaxy Domination (version 7) on a HTC Magic with Vodafone branding on Android 1.6
