I am trying to use the alsa_midi_in module, and I can't figure out how to use note-on/note-off to make the envelope for an oscillator. has anyone figured this out? Currently I am just using the VCA/ADSR method with the note-on messages. I can include my example, if anyone wants it. thanks, -dK |

I have sort of emulated that by just putting different note lengths on different channels and add one module for each channel. I realize that this is a silly way to do this, but I couldn't figure out a better way. The example of what I did (which I know is wrong) is at http://konsumer.memebot.com/midi_osc_example.galan Thanks, -dK |
