The has been verified that gaimnosd works with gaim 2.0.0 Beta1
* Strip HTML markup from the messages printed
* debian package added
Now the plugin has a multi-line feature (through the xosd_scroll function) wich is very usefull when you receive several incoming messages at the same time. Thanks to Germain Masse.
OSD of the incomming messages was made to include the name of the sender, not the name of the receiving account. Thanks to Nikolay Kolev for spotting that.
The messages now appear with the sender's name, not with the number
If there's a good idea (like the one from Ildar Shaynurov <shir80@mail.ru> to show the message text as OSD notifications) it deserves due implementation.
Be sure to check the options page to enable that.
There was a problem in the RPM packaging preventing the auto update of GAIM in Fedora. Fixed.
Finally gotr some time to make a proper packaging of this gizmo : now it has a source RPM, a CVS reporsitory and everything.
The CVS module is called .... gaimnosd.
See the INSTALL file about how to re-build the source and binary rpms if need be.
Changed the API version of the plugin. This causes it to work with the recent gaim (0.77).
Note that there my be problems with older GAIMs. If you experience such, use the 0.2 release.
This realease adds a configuration UI for the options and a spec file for building binary RPM
This is the initial release of the plugin. It doesn't have customization at runtime yet. I'm planing of adding a GTK properties dialog, but for now you can change the fonts/postion/timeout in the source file itself.
