#3 Unhiding partition problem (yup yet another)

I used the WinXP installation disk to redo the MBR
(fixmbr), but my partitions are still unlettered and don't
show up in 'My Computer'...

How do I get them back?

I haven't installed GAG yet, (I will in just a minute, hopefully
everything will go well) but I would recommend using a
program such as PartitionMagic by PowerQuest
(http://www.powerquest.com/). So far it has been able to
recognize a broad array of different partitions on my
computer with no trouble at all, even if Windows can't see
them, and can change / "map" drive letters and hide/unhide
your partitions. this one in particular is a bit pricey, though,
but I'm sure there are alternatives. It's good that you can at
boot into Windows at all, that will make things easier for you
    to fix.

You can use Partition Magic to restore your partitions, or
(if you preffer free software), the Linux's FDISK. Use the
    'change partition type' option.
