GAG booting "frugal" install?

  • Simonbarsinister

Is is possible to use GAG to boot a Live-CD ISO image stored on the hard disk, either in it's own partition or as files in another partition?
This is usually called a "frugal install". It is similar in some respects to booting a CD.

I use it to have an immutable OS for online banking that cannot be infected by viruses because it starts fresh from an ISO each time it is booted.

I would be very interested in this option as well.  It would be useful for a number of HDD diagnostic bootable cds I use in a workshop on a testbed machine.
