I've had no problem with g4u on Intel D845 and D865 motherboards (with onboard LAN), but I am unable to connect to my ftp server when running on a new D915GUX motherboard. Doing uploaddisk us...@ft... D915.gz gives the following: Welcome to g4u, starting upload of wd0 now... 0 0.00 KB/s ftp: No address associated with host name Not Connected Not Connected Not Connected Info from dmesg that appears important... vendor 0x8086 product 0x1064 ethernet network revision 0x01 at pci6 dev 8 function 0 not configured 0x8086 0x266a SMBus serial bus revision 0x03 at pci0 dev 31 function 3 not configured uhid at uhidev0 not configured Also when doing ifconfig -a I get Lo0: flags=8008<LOOPBACK, MULTICAST> mtu 33196 There are no "fxp" lines anywhere that I can see. The network works fine in Windows, and the device manager reports that the NIC is: Intel(R) Pro 10/100 VE I'm using g4u 2.0 Thanks for any assistance you can give. hbear |
