      Hi rooster15,

Might be a bit late with this one... but just incase someone else has the same problem.

      What the error means:
The error number is a socket error that is telling you that you are trying to bind to a IP address that you don't own. (Search google for "10049" if you need to know more.)

      How to fix it:
This error is usually caused by entering an IP address that isn't your IP in prefs under 'network options' in the 'IP to bind to locally'. If you need to have this set then make sure you have entered the right IP address by using ipconfig or something similar. If you don't need this set just leave it blank.

I wanted to toss my 2 cents in.

This error is likely caused because you specified an IP Under
Preferences> Network Options> IP to bind to locally:
This option should only be used if you are using a "multi-homed" system, a computer with more than one network connection.  Most people should leave this blank (bind to primary network interface), if you use this field you will probably input an address beginning with 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x, or 10.x.x.x.

Do not confuse this field with the one immediately below it labeled "IP to report to tracker", which is what you would use to fix certain IP reporting problems from your internal network by inputting your global IP.

er.. sourceforge needs a way to edit messages.

"This option should only be used if you are" should read "This option should not be used unless".

Either that or I should stop drinking so much before loading the browser huhu.
