I know everybody is looking at that subject and saying "why the heck would anyone want to limit their down speed?"
Here's my problem.... I have a roommate and we split the cost of the Internet (quite expensive where I live). So it is only right that he actually be able to use the internet. Unfortunately (for him), when I am downloading, there is virtually no bandwidth left for him to do anything.
If there were a feature where I could adjust my down speed so that in the evenings, he has bandwidth to work with, that would be great. Better yet would be a feature where I could schedule the bandwidth limits to change according to a schedule but I won't get greedy !!!

would rather see this built into the client rather than have another 3rd party app using even more resources. Other Clients have it built it why not G3. Though this is not really needed right away i think they have enough one their hands fixing curent bugs in the latest build. It would be nice to see this in the feature though.

Would be best to try out netlimiter, it has everything you asked for.
