May i ask ? What is a RSS Feed and what for ?

i've been trying to read about RSS Feed and wanting to learn in which way it is useful to my use of G3... and how i should use it.

could anyone explain to me in a simple way what it is for and how i am to use it ?

  Rss are live feeds, so.. if G3 can handle them properly you should be able to see a list of new torrents for you to get without having to open a browser and check.
  
  The main advantage is that if G3 adds auto download you can get G3 to moniter a torrent list and start DL a torrent the second it appears and have it in the morning.
  
  It is quiet handy..

  radnad: if you get the new tweaked version of g3 posted on this message board it has a built in rss reader with www legaltorrents com for you to check out. Others you find can then be added. I hope its ok to post this... www tvtorrents net/software/rss.html has a good explanation with an auto-downloader in a tiny little prog.
