It'd be excellent to have the feature similar to Azureus where it checks the file once, and after that when you restart the client or what ever it instantly starts downloading, as in doesn't re-check the file to see how much you've downloaded.
You probably need to make a separate file that records what's already been downloaded or something like that.

i agree totally, the prog should only check the file at the end of the download and then it should do it SLOWLY (=in small portions) so that the check doesnt block the whole system.
