Release 1.1.0 of the G11NToolKit Open Source Project is now available. The G11NToolKit project is a collaborative development project intended to make globalization work easier.
The G11NToolKit is a set of Java classes that can be used to aid in extracting and preparing source code strings for translation. The classes are designed to work together to accomplish the tasks desired. The tool kit is intended to be used in a defined process in conjunction with other translation tools. The G11NToolKit home page (http://g11ntoolkit.sourceforge.net) contains information as to what each of the steps does in the process along with the required inputs and the expected outputs.
Please join us in this collaborative effort by going to the home page to look at what is offered and what can be done to extend the project. The Sourceforge.net project page for the tool kit is http://sourceforge.net/projects/g11ntoolkit.
This release has a significant change in the package naming conventions used.
Please see the release notes for information about the contents of this release and the roadmap for future project development. Both the release notes and the roadmap can be found as HTML files in the documentation distribution package and on the project home page.
