When iconified to the tray (default for me on startup),
the AGC (for brightness) doesn't activate until I open
the window. This makes the webcam end up with a lot of
"white" images.

I'm using 0.9.9.2, with a Logitech QuickCam Web.

I verified this behavior with my Logitech QuickCam 4000.

Thanks for your bug report. Some cameras apparently give a black image
instead of a white image.

Sorry the above comment was mine. (Forgot to log in.) I
have indeed verified the AGC behavior on my Logitech
QuickCam 4000.
