uploading the same firewall set, previously working fine on alchemy 5.1, to v5.2, it looks like everything's uploaded ... and my fw seems to be functioning.
however, my logging has dramatically changed ...
i'm now getting the following (type of) message (various ports & addresses) _streaming_ through into logs ... which i'd not noticed earlier today, and were _definintely_ not showing up in the 5.1 install.
Jul 27 23:28:07 linksys kernel: [Catch: global(12) DENY] IN= OUT=br0 SRC=172.30.11.1 DST=172.30.11.2 LEN=92 TOS=0x00 PREC=0xC0 TTL=64 ID=42725 PROTO=ICMP TYPE=3 CODE=1 [SRC=172.30.11.2 DST=220.127.116.11 LEN=64 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=63 ID=55580 PROTO=UDP SPT=53 DPT=53 LEN=44 ]
something's changed ... i'm trying to track it down now ...
does anything strike you as immediately obvious?

adding a bit of info ...
it seems that a warm reboot from linksys' shell brings the box up in an unstable state ... i've been able to do this 3 times now ... where most everything works, but i get these messages in my logs
and, the situation seems to degrade with time/traffic.
what seems to clear the issue, for now, is a cold reboot (back to setting defaults, but still in alchemy) of the gateway, re-setup ... now we're stable again.
memory leak? running out of nvram?
i'll keep looking ...
