I have a Red Hat, configured with 4 eth, DMZ, LAN,WAN (with a 4Mb line) and
Back up line with an ADSL, I want to know, how can I use my back up line, to
monitorize the WAN line, cause I have a machine inside my lan with netoscope
( make test of ports etc.. of all my servers), so if the 4mb line fails ( or
other service ) I detect it, trough ADSL and using the PUBLIC IP of my 4Mb
acces; the problem is, that I want to enroute the traffic of this mahine,
through the ADSL, not the 4Mb, I configure the gateway of the eth in the
ADSL segment, to enroute the packet to the ADSL router, and the gateway of
the eth with the 4Mb line is the one of my telecomunications provider cause
this eth has directly configured a Public IP, if I make an ip addr in the
computer, I only see, the gateway of the 4Mb line, is not possible to have
two gateways ( of course one in each eth) ????
If anyone has an idea...
Thanks in advance
